Ultimately, happiness isn't that complicated.

No effort is required to be in the present moment when you have to lift 1500 kg of crates of olives per day, check the kneading of the purple paste and observe, as if by a small miracle, the trickle of golden oil that flows gently .
The production of olive oil was an immersion of several weeks in intense work, conviviality and human warmth, connection to nature and animals… and disconnection from the rest of the world.
I am deeply grateful to my friends and family for their support (literally!) and for sharing these timeless moments despite the lack of comfort. I cherish the memory of the stars in our eyes around the fire pit, bundled up in thick sweaters as the sun set, sharing a drink as a reward for our efforts. A special and heartfelt thank you to the grill masters who treated us to delicious Iberian pork.
The winter landscapes, the fleeting encounters with deer, the "curiosity" visits of horses and the soothing presence of sheep have enhanced our daily life.
Some days, we would sneak up to the top of the hill to get a bit of a signal and chat with our "loved ones." Each time, we quickly came back down to avoid being bombarded with this stream of world news, which we can very well do without.
Ultimately, happiness isn't that complicated.
