The Finca Sol de los Pedroches
The Finca is located in the Sierra Morena mountains less than an hour north of Córdoba . It covers 300 hectares of olive groves, pastures and scrubland . Our project is to integrate the principles of regenerative agriculture with the ancestral tradition of producing quality olive oil.
The region
The Los Pedroches region is located in the Sierra Morena mountains which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO .
Los Pedroches also has a protected designation of origin for the Iberian pigs that roam freely in these Mediterranean forests. The century-old holm oak is emblematic of the region.
The origin of the name
The name and logo SOL were created to recall the direct link with the concept of regenerative agriculture.
This is why the O in SOL is divided into two: SOL for the Sun (top semicircle) but also SOL for the Earth (bottom semicircle). The two parts together form a circle evoking the cycle of life.

Animals
The horses came to join the roe deer, stags, wild boars, foxes and hares .
Among the birds that delight us in the morning are the magnificent Hoopoe , Sharpe's Woodpecker, the jay, the swallow and many birds of prey.
At nightfall , the sound of frogs and crickets livens up the early evening .

The hills of the finca form an arc like an amphitheater whose stage is occupied by the Rio Cuzna . The river is part of a river nature reserve that protects this landscape of great beauty.
What most impresses those who have the pleasure of visiting the Finca is the beauty of the landscapes and the omnipresence of nature .
Sierra Morena is recognized as an ideal destination for stargazing by the Starlight Foundation.
